The Edelweiss Salzburg Mountain Resort is nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape of the Grossarl valley. And it’s not just the location of the hotel that’s unique – its facilities are also sure to satisfy guests’ every need. In addition to a large spa area featuring an infinity pool and sauna with panoramic views, the resort also impresses with its stylish rooms and luxury suites. The 148 hotel rooms and suites are characterised by high-quality materials and tasteful decor. Top-grade products were also incorporated into the bathrooms during the recent renovation work. “We want to offer our guests the best state-of-the-art facilities, and naturally this also means ensuring that the sanitary installations are up to date,” explains Junior Boss Peter Hettegger. Depending on the room category, the bathrooms are equipped with various Geberit AquaClean shower toilets. So what’s the guests’ verdict on the bathroom facilities? “We have received overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic feedback on the shower toilets.” Hettegger also added that although most guests had already heard of shower toilets, they had never had the chance to try one out before.
A feeling of hospitality and warmth
It all started with grandma and grandad Hettegger who opened a small guesthouse comprising 14 rooms in 1979. Today, over 40 years later, the establishment is much bigger and 14 members of the family – plus many more employees – work at the Hotel Edelweiss day in, day out. Whether in the kitchen, on reception or in the service team, you are sure to come across one of the Hettegger clan at some point. Although they all take on different roles and responsibilities, hospitality and warmth seem to be in the blood of each and every family member. As soon as you enter the Edelweiss, you are immediately enveloped by a relaxed atmosphere which you’ll never want to leave behind.
