The process that gives tangible value to ecological responsibility is never a trivial story. To restore meaning to words and concepts whose overuse has stripped them of significance, it’s essential to reflect and return to their roots. Rediscovering the meaning of the word “eco,” for example, signifies a new way of working, which we pursue with great commitment and awareness. The prefix “eco” comes from the Greek word òikos, meaning home and the environment in which we live—a concept so aligned with our product that it inspired us to find our personal way of expressing it. If ecology is the study of the environment we live in and an ecosystem is the structure of an environment that exists in balance and harmony, we asked ourselves: how can we design a product that fits concretely into this logic?
Celebrate the uniqueness and the harmony that exist within everything: like the seemingly imperfect tiles of a mosaic that come together to build pure beauty. This is the key to Nagomi, the new collection by Mirage in collaboration with the architect and designer Hadi Teherani.

Reflet is Mirage’s new collection for architecture. It is the result of more than two years of research that the company conducted together with Andrea Boschetti to introduce an absolutely innovative technical product to the ceramic market.
Mirage has been one of the major partners in the development of the external facades, rooftop, public areas and rooms of the Life Source Hotel in Bergamo, an avant-garde project able to combine sustainability and design, technological innovation and architectural experimentation, functionality and aesthetics.
