New luxury hotel heading to London’s West End

A sister London site to Middle Eight and The Guardsman hotels is planned to appear in the UK capital.

Luxury hotel The BoTree is due to complete in July 2023 at the intersection of the Marylebone and Mayfair neighbourhoods in the city’s West End.

City spirit

The 199-room five-star hotel, complete with 29 suites, will be designed to capture the spirit of the city’s ‘village’ life and reflect the prestige of central London.

Amenities will include bars; two destination restaurants, one of which will provide rooftop views of the city; a live music club; boutique screening room and fitness centre.

Room register

Amsterdam-based designer Concrete has been tasked with the interiors, using colourful natural fabrics and eclectic textures created exclusively for the hotel’s guestrooms.

Each room will welcome guests with a reception space separated by sliding panels leading to bedrooms and lounge areas. Contemporary suites, ranging from 31 sq m to 78 sq m will feature a lounge, balcony, personal bar and integrated cocktail station.

The largest of the suites, Presidential Suite, will offer views across central London, featuring a private elevator lobby, guest entrance and an outdoor terrace. The space can be combined with the adjoining suites to create a 350 sqm (3,770 sq ft) wing.

Conscious luxury

Founder of The BoTree, Middle Eight, The Guardsman, Rishi Sachdev, said; ‘The BoTree combines uncompromising standards with a purpose-driven approach to establish our own form of luxury. ‘conscious luxury’. Our core values of truth, love and compassion will drive our business decisions in this new hotel.”

The BoTree will open as a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Legend Collection. Other Preferred sites currently underway include sly Berlin, imminently adding 150 keys to Germany’s capital.
