First Hospitality has picked up management contracts for five lifestyle hotels, moving the company into five markets it did not previously operate in. The additions span Arizona, California, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri, and include properties tied to Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio and Autograph Collection brands, as well as Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.
The new hotels are Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel; The Steward Santa Barbara, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel; Hotel Northland, Autograph Collection, in Green Bay, Wisconsin; Hotel Elkhart, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Elkhart, Indiana; and Le Méridien St. Louis Downtown.
David Duncan, President and CEO of First Hospitality, said the additions represent a step into new markets and further growth in leisure and lifestyle travel. He noted that each hotel has ties to its local community, and that the company plans to build on that while running day-to-day operations.
What Guests Will Find at Each Property
Sky Rock Sedona sits in Sedona, Arizona, with 109 rooms and views of the area’s red rock formations. The hotel has a resort-style pool, a hot tub, a spa, wellness programming, and an on-site restaurant called Bar WooWoo.
The Steward Santa Barbara is an 87-suite hotel on nearly five acres in Santa Barbara, California, built around the historic Sexton House. It has an outdoor pool, a restaurant, wellness offerings, and both indoor and outdoor space for meetings and events.
Hotel Northland, in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a historic property with 160 rooms. It offers close to 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a venue called The Alley, along with Poke The Bear Sports Bar and the Walnut Room Green Bay restaurant.
Hotel Elkhart, a 93-room boutique hotel in downtown Elkhart, Indiana, has nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Dining options include The Corner Bar, the High Note Rooftop Bar, and Relish Café & Confections.
A Broader Footprint for First Hospitality
The fifth property, Le Méridien St. Louis Downtown, rounds out the group, giving First Hospitality a presence in a fifth new market alongside Sedona, Santa Barbara, Green Bay, and Elkhart.
Taken together, the five hotels add several hundred rooms to First Hospitality’s management portfolio and bring in a mix of well-known hotel brands. The properties also share a focus on food and beverage offerings, wellness amenities, and meeting space, features that are common across the lifestyle hotel segment.
With this expansion, First Hospitality now manages hotels in markets ranging from desert tourism destinations to Midwest downtown cores, a spread that reflects the range of demand in leisure and business travel alike.
