Revo Hospitality has been born, as a rebrand and repositioning of the HR Group, reflecting its recent growth as a major European hotel manager

German hotel operator HR Group has announced a rebrand, launching itself under a new name, as Revo Hospitality.

Revo Hospitality Group was launched at the 2025 Berlin hotel conference, underlining its position as a major player in the European hotel space. The full service platform now offers services including brand management, hotel management and the development and implementation of hospitality technology.

Working with international brand partners

Revo is already a significant partner with major brand groups including Wyndham, Accor, Hyatt, Marriott and IHG. It also operates hotels under its own brands, including Aedenlife, Hyperion and Vagabond Club. And the rebrand builds on a number of significant growth steps the company has taken already in 2025.

Those growth steps include the acquisition of more than 60 hotels from peer H-Hotels, adding new brands and hotels in new destinations across central Europe. In the same period, Revo also took on a further 10 hotels from H World International, as that business looks to shift to an asset-light business model.

“We see Revo Hospitality Group as an entirely new approach to hotel management,” said CEO and owner of HR Group, Ruslan Husry. “We are the visionary scaling partner for both landlords and hotel franchise partners – they entrust us with their properties, and we streamline processes while offering an innovative, flexible concept that we call ‘plug-and-play’.”

The H World properties included seven IntercityHotel and three Steigenberger sites across Germany. The hotels will retain their existing branding, but with Revo managing them under franchise agreements.

Also in 2025, Revo completed the transformation and rebranding of 25 hotels it acquired during 2024, previously with the Centro group. Those hotels migrated to Wyndham brands, with some switching to its Trademark Collection. Others have become additions to the Vienna House brand, and its connected sub-brand, Vienna House Easy. While most of the properties are in Germany, the portfolio additions included a Vienna House Easy at Amsterdam airport, plus a Trademark hotel in Salzburg, Austria.

Revo has a number of upcoming openings to add to its growing portfolio. These include the Hyatt House in Frankfurt City Goetheplatz, a 180 room hotel due to open in autumn 2025. The Hyatt House, and an adjacent Kimpton branded hotel, will form part of a new mixed use development in the city centre.

Landing with scale at Vienna airport

Later in 2025, Revo will launch a substantial new hotel at Vienna airport. The new Vienna House Easy will have 510 rooms and is being built on a site adjacent to the airport’s main terminal. In Davos, Revo has taken over management of the Grandhotel Belvedere, while working with the owners on plans to refurbish the property, and potentially rebrand to an international flag.

There are also Radisson RED hotels planned, which Revo will manage. A 164 room hotel in Innsbruck, Austria will open in late 2025, followed by Radisson RED Winterthur, Switzerland opening by mid 2026.
