Spain's IDILIQ Hotels & Resorts is expanding, adding two more properties during 2026, both under Wyndham branding

Spanish group IDILIQ Hotels & Resorts is planning two new resort openings in Spain, adding to its portfolio of Wyndham branded properties in Europe.

The openings, on the holiday island of Mallorca and on the Costa del Sol, will start with the April launch of Wyndham Portocolom. Then, as summer turns, the second property, Wyndham Grand La Cala Golf Residences will open in the Andalusian countryside. This destination will represent a new high spot in the IDILIQ portfolio, being the group’s most luxurious resort yet opened.

Two More Resorts For Wyndham

For its first Mallorcan offering, IDILIQ will open Wyndham Portocolom in April 2026. Its 110 luxury apartments are a mix of studio, one and two bed units, ideal for a holiday stay being just 150m from Cala Marcal beach. The property will launch with a wide range of amenities including a pool, sports courts, games arcade and cinema room. Into 2027, a second phase will be developed, further expanding the range of facilities for guests to enjoy.

Located just a short drive from the seaside town of La Cala de Mijas, the 58 two and three bedroom villas of Wyndham Grand La Cala Golf Residences will overlook the La Cala Golf Course. Featuring floor to ceiling windows, and an open plan layout, these luxury properties are both welcoming for families and keen golfers alike. The resort features an infinity pool, co-working space and a fully fitted out gym for those who love their workouts. Guests can take advantage of a concierge service, to help arrange anything from an airport transfer to private dining experience, or restaurant reservations.

“Each property strengthens our continually expanding portfolio, with Wyndham Portocolom marking our debut in Mallorca and Wyndham Grand La Cala Golf Residences elevating the brand into the high-end luxury market,” said IDILIQ managing director Simon Jackson. “I am excited to see what the future holds and how we can continue to deliver refined, residence-style accommodation within world-class resort settings that our guests have come to expect.”

Currently, IDILIQ operates ten resort properties, across Europe and in Florida. Of these, seven are branded under group Wyndham flags, including Ramada and Wyndham Grand.

On the Costa del Sol, its cluster includes the Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol, Ramada Hotel & Suites, and Royal Marbella Golf Resort. On the island of Tenerife, IDILIQ offers accommodation at the Wyndham Grand Residences in Costa Adele, the Ramada Residences also in Costa Adele, and the Wyndham Residences Golf del Sur.

Growth in Florida and Scotland

In America’s sunshine destination of Florida, IDILIQ operates two resorts in Orlando. Encantada is a tropical lakeside oasis, with family style townhouse accommodation, close to the theme parks that many visitors come for. And Regal Oaks in Kissimmee is just five miles from Walt Disney World, yet has a relaxed resort feel for a chilled out stay.

IDILIQ has also launched in the UK, with the Wyndham Duchally Country Estate. This historic country house hotel, developed from a country estate, sits close to the renowned Gleneagles golf course in 27 acres of parkland. Guests can choose from accommodation in the central hotel building, or reserve one of more than 50 self catering lodges in the grounds.
