The new hotel promises signature brand services and amenities including free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food and beverage offerings.

Designed for multi-tasking travellers

The 239-room Hyatt Place Kyoto is now hosting guests in a space offering convenient access to many of the ancient capital’s attractions.

This is the first Hyatt-branded select service hotel in Kyoto and one that’s distinguished by the Hyatt Place brand’s signature combination of intuitive design, a casual atmosphere and practical amenities.

Designed to provide an easy-to-navigate experience for today’s multi-tasking traveller, the property promises to pair style and innovation with 24/7 conveniences.

“As Japan’s international borders start to reopen, we are excited to welcome guests to the first Hyatt Place hotel in Kyoto,” said general manager Takuma Yoshimura.

“Our hotel’s central location makes it easy for our guests to travel around Kyoto, visit the city’s many cultural and traditional sites as well as attend business appointments. With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate work, play and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road.”

Hyatt Place Kyoto’s 239 guest rooms, including three suites, come with separate areas for sleep, work and play and feature the brand’s signature Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper.

Facilities at the hotel include The Kitchen serving breakfast, the Lobby Bar for 24-hour dining along with specialty coffees, premium beers, wines and champagne, and a fitness room with cardio equipment.

Guests can also make use of the hotel’s necessities programme for borrowing forgotten items.

As well as being located at the southwest corner of the Kyoto Imperial Palace, the hotel is close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nijo-jo Castle. The property is connected to Marutamachi station on the Karasuma subway line, 10 minutes from Kyoto station by subway or car and within easy reach of Kyoto International Conference Center.
