Construction has officially started on a new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Loxahatchee, Florida. The 81-room hotel will rise as part of the Groves at Town Center, a mixed-use development that also includes retail and office space. Developers expect the doors to open in fall 2027.
The project is led by Groves Hospitality LLC, a company owned by Archer Capital Group. Rahil Sanghvi, Managing Principal at Archer Capital Group, announced the groundbreaking on LinkedIn, calling it a milestone for the team after years of planning. The next phase, he noted, will be vertical construction.
A Closer Look at the Project
The hotel will stand three stories tall and cover 41,318 square feet. Its suites will range from 398 to 728 square feet, built for guests who plan to stay a while. Home2 Suites is Hilton’s extended-stay brand, so the rooms come with the kind of space and setup that suits longer visits rather than overnight stops.
Guests will also have access to a swimming pool and an outdoor grilling area once the hotel is finished. The property will include 83 parking spaces to serve both hotel guests and visitors to the wider Town Center development. Neucor Construction, led by Ramiro Gamez, is the general contractor on the build, joining the wider network of suppliers and contractors that serve hotel construction projects like this one.
Groves Hospitality bought the 2.24-acre site in 2025 for $1.9 million at a time when the land was largely undeveloped. The company has now secured a $10.58 million construction loan from Popular Bank to move the project forward.
Filling a Gap in Local Lodging
Loxahatchee is mostly a residential area, and hotel options there are limited. The new Home2 Suites will give travelers a lodging choice close to several nearby attractions. Lion Country Safari, HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, and the South Florida Fairgrounds and Amphitheatre are all close to the site, which could bring in guests visiting for events, medical needs, or a day at the safari park.
The hotel adds to a growing list of projects taking shape across Palm Beach County. In Boca Raton, for example, developers have plans for a 12-story building that will include 219 hotel rooms along with retail space. Together, these projects point to steady hotel construction activity across the county as new sites move from planning to groundbreaking.
For now, work in Loxahatchee is just getting underway. The site has moved from an empty lot to an active construction zone. If the fall 2027 timeline holds, the Home2 Suites will become one of the newer lodging options in an area that has not had many to begin with.
