Lumbini focus
The 175-guestroom property, Hyatt Regency Lumbini, will be the second hotel with the Golyan Group. It’s expected to open by 2028.
The hotel will be spread across 11 acres featuring 175 guest rooms, convenient dining options, events and meeting spaces, and a range of amenities including a fitness centre, a wellness spa, an outdoor pool, and other entertainment facilities.
Lumbini is a popular tourist destination, with UNESCO World Heritage status and Lumbini’s vast gardens with historical treasures.
The property will be located within short driving distance of the popular pilgrimage destination Mayadevi Temple. It will also be close to the Gautan Buddha International Airport, the city of Butwal, and the Nepal-India border.
The property will be branded under Hyatt’s Hyatt Regency umbrella, one of the group’s high-end “Timeless Collection” properties.
