Expected to open late this year, the 54-room five-star M Collection Hangzhou by Minor Hotel Group will be a part of the 433-hectare Lvjingtang Eco-Park found 55km northwest of Hangzhou city centre. In this location, the hotel will be near the Alibaba headquarters and a new private jet centre.

The early 2025 opening Mandarin Oriental Hangzhou will then be a part of the Westlake 66 mixed-use commercial and luxury retail complex, which is owned and developed by Hang Lung Properties. This site lies close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, West Lake.

The five-star property will house 194 guest rooms and suites, along with four restaurants and bars, meeting and event space and wellness facilities including an extensive spa, fitness centre and indoor pool. KPF Architects is behind the hotel design.
