Shamin Hotels has worked with Celano Design Studio to open the newly renovated The Landing at Hampton Marina, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

In Hampton, Virginia, The Landing at Hampton Marina has become a member of Hilton Worldwide’s prestigious Tapestry Collection brand. We find out more.

A proud addition to Tapestry Collection’s ranks

Chester-based Shamin Hotels is currently applying the finishing touches to the nine-storey project, having worked with New York’s Celano Design Studio on the property’s unique aesthetic. The result is a stunning scheme that offers guests every possible comfort while on the road.

“We are thrilled because this is unlike anything else in the area; it’s going to be a destination for visitors and locals alike,” said Melvin Nichols, general manager, The Landing at Hampton Marina.

A look inside The Landing at Hampton Marina

The hotel features 173 guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hampton River. Its rooftop pool deck, and bar with indoor and outdoor seating, are perfect spaces for guests to relax, while the inclusion of 10,000 sq ft of event space provides plenty of scope for hosting business and private functions.

From the hotel, visitors are only a few steps away from Hampton Marina – and are also close to a host of restaurants, shops, breweries and museums.

“Downtown Hampton is a tremendous destination full of potential,” said Neil Amin, chief executive, Shamin Hotels. “Historically, guests have focused on a consistent product when they travel. Now travellers search for hotels in eclectic neighbourhoods, which can provide unique and memorable experiences.”

“Hampton’s downtown waterfront is both picturesque and authentic, with oyster boats and luxury cruisers,” added Donnie Tuck, mayor, City of Hampton. “The best place to experience that is the beautifully remodelled Landing at Hampton Marina, soon to be part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton. We thank Shamin Hotels for their investment in a second hotel in Hampton.”
