Soho Boutique Hotels Selects Amadeus as Distribution Partner to Increase Travel Agency Bookings and Revenue

The Spanish hotel chain has implemented iHotelier® GDS to enhance its connectivity to corporate travel agencies and build its online presence

As corporate travel returns, hoteliers are re-examining their strategies to target and win this share of business. A strong distribution mix is essential to reach travelers and travel agents on the channels where they actively shop and book.

As part of its growth strategy, Soho Boutique Hotels is expanding its online footprint to increase brand awareness, visibility, and bookings across third party channels. The hotel chain, with more than 30 properties in main destinations across Spain, has selected Amadeus to support its corporate business objectives in targeting travel agencies using the industry’s major global distribution systems (GDSs). Amadeus’ iHotelier GDS capabilities will allow Soho to sell its rooms to more than 350,000 travel agencies worldwide while maintaining full control of changes to inventory, rates, and availability.

Belén Gil Monreal, Director of Sales, Soho Boutique Hotels, says of the deal: “We are a small hotel chain with big aspirations, and we trust Amadeus as a leading name in hospitality technology to help us meet our growth objectives. Connecting our properties to the GDS will unlock revenue opportunities, identify profitable new travel agency partnerships, and streamline our entire distribution process.”

Jan Tissera, Head of International, Hospitality, Amadeus, comments: “We are thrilled to welcome Soho Boutique Hotels to the Amadeus family. We are proud to provide solutions and service to hotel companies of all sizes, and we look forward to helping Soho achieve its strategic goals now and in the future.”
