Conversion charm

Nobu Hotel Madrid will be located in a transformed office building, at 26 Calle Alcalá between Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta del Sol. This central location is at the heart of the Spanish capital’s Cortes District, famed for its cobbled streets and hordes of tapas bars.

The hotel will offer a tri-level Nobu restaurant and bar, an expansive rooftop bar and a lounge with views over the skyline.

The restaurant will be reimagined by California-based Studio PCH, which has designed multiple Nobu properties including the iconic Nobu Malibu and the Nobu Hotel San Sebastian.

Additional amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness centre and spa.

Millennium Hospitality Real Estate is developing the exclusive 50-key property, which is expected to open in the first quarter of 2026.

Nobu continues to grow

The first Nobu restaurant opened in Tribeca in 1994, marking the beginning of a collaboration between Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, best known for cult classics like ‘From Dust to Dawn’ and ‘What’s Eating Gilbert Grape’.

Today, Nobu is a chain of 77 restaurants, 41 hotels, 12 luxury real estate projects, and a global lifestyle icon with a passionate fan base and a portfolio spanning five continents.
