Luxury brand The Address Hotels + Resorts is aiming to take Nigeria’s hospitality offering to a new level by creating a prestigious property at the mixed-use Centenary City development in Abuja.

The brand’s forthcoming hotel and residence project represents the first phase of Abuja’s ambitious regeneration scheme, which champions sustainable urban design principles.

Nigeria’s dynamic city of the future

A completion date may not yet be in sight, but this Abuja project by The Address Hotels + Resorts is certainly one to look forward to. The Address Centenary City Abuja and The Address Residences Centenary City Abuja will be part of a sprawling development taking shape 20 km from the existing Abuja city centre and just 12 km from the international airport.

Centenary City Abuja has been in the pipeline since 2014, a year that marked Nigeria’s 100th anniversary. Situated in the heart of the action, this development is being designed to provide a sense of community and the modern facilities of a city in a tranquil village setting – the plans focus on supporting healthy lifestyles and offering convenient access to abundant greenery.

A major new Address for Abuja

When it’s finished, the five-star hotel will house 666 guest rooms and abundant amenities for both business and leisure travellers. The property plans to offer two restaurants, a destination lounge, a business centre, a spa and wellness centre, and an outdoor pool and deck opening out onto landscaped areas. The design is being led by RTKL & HKS Architects.

In total, Centenary City Abuja will boast more than 520,000 sq ft of hotel suites and serviced apartments. The four residential towers here will encompass around 424 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, while there will also be a number of exclusive villas set in approximately 6.3 hectares of their own space.
