Following franchise agreements with Forimi Italia Spa, part of Gruppo Roscioli, Hilton recently announced the signing of two properties in Italy. Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo marks the Italian debut of Hilton’s lifestyle brand, Canopy by Hilton, and is scheduled to open later in 2025. Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum continues the expansion of Hilton’s most prevalent brand in Italy and is slated to open in time for the 2026 summer season.
Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo
Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo, the first Canopy by Hilton branded hotel to open in Italy, will offer 96 guest rooms and an elevated, boutique hotel experience in the heart of Milan. Located on the vibrant street of Via Torino, this new luxury hotel will feature a sophisticated design and the brand’s signature amenities, which include the following:
- On-site restaurant serving locally inspired cuisine
- Stylish lobby bar and rooftop bar with panoramic city views
- Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
- Modern wellness and fitness facilities
Originally built in the early 1950s, the property blends modern architectural elements with classic design, ensuring each guest enjoys an unforgettable stay whether traveling for work or pleasure.

Located on the lively Via Torino, the hotel is surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants. Just steps from the Missori metro station and close to major landmarks like the Duomo di Milano, it offers easy access to Milan’s top attractions and transport hubs.
Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum
Offering a prime location in the heart of Rome, Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum will mark the second hotel under the Hilton Garden Inn brand in Italy’s capital. The property will offer upscale and affordable accommodation with modern amenities, including a restaurant, lobby bar, and fitness center.

The hotel will be within walking distance of some of the city’s most historical landmarks, such as the Colosseum, the Domus Aurea, and the Roman Forum. A short train ride will also bring guests within easy reach of the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.
