Accor has recently inked a broad batch of hotel signings across Asia as part of its aim to extend its reach.

As of October 2023, Accor has executed management agreements for 69 properties, augmenting its extensive portfolio with over 16,500 keys.

Six signings

Amidst this surge, the group strategically continues to direct its efforts toward leadership in the premium, midscale and economy segments, through brands including Novotel and Mercure.

In November 2023 the group finalised six signings with over 1,100 additional keys throughout Asia.

Indonesian inking

One of the upcoming additions is in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. Scheduled for Q1 2026, Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas will be located in Pulo Mas in the east of the city.

This 36-floor hotel, part of a mixed-use development with an office building and the Nusantara TV studios, will offer 175 rooms, including standard rooms and suites. It will feature an all-day dining restaurant, lounge, health and fitness centre, spa, pool bar and an outdoor swimming pool.

Vietnamese variant

In Vietnam, Accor will oversee the management and operation of hotels including Mercure Cat Tien within the Imperial Oasis Quy Nhon project in Binh Dinh province.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the hotel, situated in the Cat Tien gateway urban area, will offer 189 guestrooms. The property will feature state-of-the-art facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, meeting rooms, swimming pool, pool club, and a gym.

Swiss Thai

In the Thai capital, Accor will unveil Swissôtel Pratunam Bangkok in early 2027.

Within the heart of Bangkok’s premier shopping district, this premium hotel with 325 rooms and suites will boast a rooftop infinity pool, a spa and several dining options.

Incoming to India

Grand Mercure Goa Candolim is scheduled to welcome guests in Q2 2024 and will become the seventh Grand Mercure in India.

This 6,500 sq m hotel will offer 87 rooms, and upscale amenities including two dining options, a 500+ sq m banquet hall and fitness and spa facilities.

Dynamic market

Garth Simmons, CEO, premium, midscale and economy division for Accor in Asia, said: “The dynamism of the hospitality market demands more than expansion; it demands innovation.

“Our strategic signings and brand introductions to new markets are a testament to our pledge to be pioneers in delivering unparalleled guest experiences, marking a new era in the evolution of hospitality.”
