Work is progressing nicely on the new Paramount Resort Lombok
A hotly anticipated resort in Indonesia is well underway, despite the ongoing Covid19 crisis. We take a look at what is happening with Paramount Resort Lombok.
Lombok to welcome Paramount
The second quarter of 2021 will see the opening of the eagerly awaited Paramount property on the Indonesian island of Lombok. Construction of the Paramount Lombok Resort began back in 2018, and a lot of progress has been made on the 5-star newbuild resort since then, regardless of the coronavirus crisis that has crippled the global hospitality industry.
This luxury project will boast an incredible 1,500 rooms, making it one of the most important resorts on the island, which is roughly the same size as Bali. The hotel is being undertaken as a joint venture between local property developer PT PP Properti and US firm EBD Paragon, and will be operated by Paramount Hotels and Resorts.
Features and amenities
The hotel and resort will be spread across a 7.6-hectare site, with stunning views of the sea that surrounds this idyllic island paradise. A mixture of guestrooms, exclusive huts and private residences, the resort is expected to appeal to a wide range of visitors, from couples celebrating special occasions to families and groups of friends.
Leisure activities will be on offer to guests wanting to take part in watersports, and there will be a host of wellness and spa treatments available to clients who wish to indulge in some rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Since the property will be operated by Paramount, it can be taken as read that the hotel will provide a unique lifestyle experience, with a distinct focus on creativity across areas such as including entertainment, design, service, cuisine, wellness and technology.
Paramount Hotels & Resorts is a new lifestyle hospitality company that celebrates the power of creativity in all its forms—entertainment, design, service, cuisine, wellness, and technology—to meet the needs of the new creative spirits of discerning luxury travelers.
