Le Parc Suite Hotel in West Hollywood has finished its US$12 million transformation, which reimagines the 154-key property as an exclusive art collector’s upscale metropolitan residence.
A renovation focused on vibrant interiors and residential comfort, the new-look hotel draws inspiration from its location in West Hollywood’s Design District. We consider this chic art-led scheme in all its glory.
A multimillion-dollar transformation
Designed by Alison Andrus of Waldrop + Nichols Studio, the interiors take inspiration from the Design District of West Hollywood, where fashion and art meet music and film. This renovation – spanning the lobby, 154 suites, meeting space, corridors and new fitness centre – has transformed the retreat, long known for its thoughtful amenities and personalised service.
“We are thrilled to introduce the new Le Parc Suite Hotel in our dynamic city of West Hollywood,” said Bert Seneca, general manager of Le Parc Suite Hotel. “Le Parc is designed as a place for everyone, as reflected in our diverse artwork, inviting amenities and exceptional service. We’re proud to welcome guests to Le Parc Suites where they’ll experience the energy of West Hollywood combined with the comforts of home.”
Pop art meets luxury
Le Parc’s 154 apartment-style suites, ranging from 650 to almost 1,000 sq ft, benefit from an update in furnishings, lighting and technology, as well as HVAC systems. Sleeping areas featuring king beds or two queen beds and separate living areas with queen sleeper sofa, fireplace, record player, kitchenette, dining table and HDTV are complemented by a furnished balcony.
The hotel’s lively Skydeck is now reminiscent of a private backyard, albeit with memorable views of the Hollywood Hills, featuring a rooftop pool surrounded by chaise lounges, colourful umbrellas, tables and seating. This is a venue for dining, drinks and events such as chef-led culinary experiences.
Elsewhere, guests may want to try out the hotel’s new state-of-the-art fitness centre for cardio, weightlifting, resistance training, yoga and peloton driven by bright interiors, energetic music and fruit-infused water. Complimentary bicycles are also available for guests wanting to explore West Hollywood on two wheels.
In addition, the hotel has a new 730 sq ft conference suite, which is available for meetings, intimate gatherings, video conferencing and special occasions, accommodating groups of up to 40. This space comes with modern decor, abstract artwork, a kitchenette, a fireplace and all the technology needed to host presentations and meetings.
Distinguishing artworks throughout the property include exterior murals by local artist Charlie Edmiston, Scott Hile’s ‘LOVE’ wall, which can be seen upon entering the hotel, handwritten song lyrics from The Beatles in the lobby and one-of-a-kind art collections with a focus on iconic musicians.
