The announcement of this beachfront property follows on from the recent Curio Collection by Hilton openings, Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes and Domes Aulus Elounda.
Growth in Greece
Hilton has entered into a franchise agreement with Tsiledakis S.A to open Imperial Flair Chania Old Town, Curio Collection by Hilton as the third Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Crete. The 85-key property will sit on the beachfront in the picturesque town of Chania.
Andreas Koukas, director, development, Greece and Cyprus, Hilton, said: “We’re excited to continue our impressive growth momentum in Greece with this latest signing announcement. In the last month alone, we’ve announced our third hotel in Crete, Imperial Flair Chania Old Town, Curio Collection by Hilton, and opened two hotels – Domes Aulus Elounda and Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes.
“In partnership with owners such as Tsiledakis SA, we’re going from strength to strength and look forward to expanding the presence of our world-class brands in Greece in the years to come.”
Labros Tsiledakis, chief operating officer, Tsiledakis SA, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Hilton to deliver what will undoubtedly be a fantastic addition to the Cretan hotel market.
“This unique, characterful hotel will capture Crete’s charm and offer guests an indulgent experience, with private swimming pools, direct access to a beach and modern upscale accommodations. We’re looking forward to our future relationship with Hilton in the Greek market, capitalising on Hilton’s strong commercial engines and our local knowledge to deliver a high-quality hospitality product in the heart of Chania.”
A new beachfront stay
Reflecting the brand it’s a part of, Imperial Flair Chania Old Town, Curio Collection will draw on its locale for facilities such as two dining outlets including a rooftop restaurant. Wellness amenities at the hotel will include a spa, fitness space and indoor and outdoor pools. All rooms will have a private pool.
The property will encompass meeting and event space and the hotel will also house two shopping outlets.
The hotel will be located on the waterfront beside the Venetian Port and Old Town of Chania. Crete is one of the largest islands in Greece and one that is home to scenic natural landscape, historic sites and rich gastronomy. Chania is located on the island’s northwest coast, which is known for having some of the island’s best beaches.
