MIA Barstool

The seats from the EMU Mia collection furnish the Café of the Louvre in Abu Dhabi, the city-museum designed as a universal exhibition of human stories shared through civilizations and cultures.

The Louvre in Abu Dhabi showcases a dialogue between cultures. An architectural project designed by award-winning architect, Jean Nouvel, whose “works” have been given space in this “museum of globalisation”. These include the seats from the Mia collection, designed by Nouvel himself for EMU, which identify the Café of the Louvre as an urban icon.

Mia, with its minimal design and formal shapes, can bring character to any setting, both outdoor and indoor. Table and chairs are easily placed, even in the smallest of spaces, bringing an immediate and unmistakable charm to their surroundings. Versatile and iconic Mia furniture offers the perfect blend of design, functionality and strength for simple, sophisticated spaces, both residential and contract.

EMU is the Italian company that has been producing outdoor furniture for more than 65 years.
