Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin is a newbuild hotel that opened in October 2019, with a stylish aesthetic that really catches the eye.

Bringing Dublin’s history to life

Managed by Hodson Bay Group, Hyatt Centric’s inaugural Irish property has 234 rooms, two distinctive F&B facilities and 4,000 sq ft of flexible meeting spaces, and has rapidly established itself as one of Dublin’s most popular haunts for discerning travellers. During their stay, guests can learn all about the city’s history by viewing artefacts – some up to 900 years old – that were unearthed across the hotel site during the construction process, and have been cleverly embedded throughout the scheme.

The property’s 234 contemporary guestrooms include nine spacious suites, not least the spectacular 50 sq m Terrace View Suite offering memorable views of the Dublin Mountains and the elegant 47 sq m Cathedral View Suite overlooking St Patrick’s Cathedral.

Welcoming F&B venues in The Liberties

Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin’s impressive F&B offering comprises the signature Liberties Gate Restaurant, pairing locally inspired menus and a relaxed ambience with floor-to-ceiling windows perfect for watching the world go by, and the distillery-inspired Liberties Gate Bar, serving up crowd-pleasing dishes, cocktails and whiskeys in a warm and cosy atmosphere. There’s also a plethora of meeting rooms capable of hosting up to 250 delegates, while the landscaped Poddle Garden and relaxed reading lounge The Corner certainly help guests make the most of their leisure time.

Throughout the hotel, a warm colour palette is in evidence, from the blue upholstery and dark-brown furniture in the guestrooms to the pink sofas and red bar stools in the public areas. Mola Architecture, the Dublin-based studio led by Ralph Bingham and Michael O’Carroll, is behind the inviting architecture and interior design, with Turkish manufacturer and designer Parla supplying the eye-catching furniture.
