Bvlgari has extended its luxury jewellery brand into the hospitality landscape, with developments combining hotel, residences and mansions in stunning locations

Super luxury hotel brand Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is bringing its unique brand offering to Abu Dhabi, expanding its presence in the Middle East.

The development, which will feature a hotel, residences and mansions all located on their own private island, is expected to welcome its first guests in 2030. It will be delivered by Middle Eastern visionary developer, Eagle Hills, led by founder Mohamed Alabbar.

The horseshoe shaped island will deliver a unique atmosphere, with views of the open sea on one side, and great sunsets on the other. The hotel will feature 60 rooms and suites, while there will be 30 villas, and 90 mansions, varying in scale and layout and blending Italian style with the heritage of the Arabian Gulf.

In tune with its island location, waterspouts will feature strongly in the offering for those enjoying a stay at the Bvlgari Abu Dhabi. The project will feature a yacht club with private beach, and 40 berth marina.

Eight larger villas will be named as estates, having their own private beach, and with expansive internal space of up to 2,500 square metres. For those keen on enjoying their yachts or motor cruisers, a selection of the mansions will have their own private docks, capable of handling vessels up to 25 metres in length.

The Bvlgari name dates back to 1884, since when it has become established as one of the leading names for Italian jewellery. Nowadays part of the LVMH luxury brand stable, Bvlgari has broadened its appeal from fine personal jewellery, into watches, accessories and perfumes, before branching out into the world of hospitality.

Today, the group’s hotel and resort operations extend to properties around the globe, including Milan, London, Paris and Rome in Europe. In the Middle East, there is Dubai, while further east, Bvlgari resorts can be enjoyed in Bali, Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo.

In Europe, Bvlgari is building a resort in Bodrum, Turkey, destined for opening in the second half of 2026. Located on the tip of a peninsula, the development will include the 184 room resort, including villas with private pools and up to six bedrooms. And around the same time, the company will launch its Maldives resort, an intimate development with just 54 rooms.

In 2027, Bvlgari Hotel Miami Beach will launch, delivering the brand’s first property in the USA. Located on the waterfront, the 100 room hotel will be close to Miami’s famed beaches, all on the edge of the city’s Art Deco district.

In 2029, the brand will open a resort in Cave Cay, the Bahamas. The project will include a 112 room hotel, plus seafront villas and branded mansions. Residents and guests will enjoy a spa and wellness
centre, marina and shopping arcade.
