The biggest hotel built in the city since 1984, here’s presenting the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport promises to be the biggest hotel built in the city since 1984. Once open, it will bear the distinction of being the city’s fourth-largest hotel.

We find out more.

A new haunt for locals and tourists alike

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is the hottest new neighbourhood in the city. This redeveloped docklands area is home to picturesque piers, a contemporary arts space and soon, the newest addition to Boston’s hotel stock, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.

With 1,054 rooms, this hotel will be the largest hotel built in Boston since 1984. Back then, the Boston Marriott Copley Place took the crown with its 1,144 rooms, but the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport will rival it to become the fourth largest hotel by keys in the city.

The hotel will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike, given its proximity to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, which is just across the street, and the fact that it is in the beating heart of this coveted new destination.

These amenities are classed as “demand generators” and will likely draw a range of visitors to the area, including corporate guests, tourists and locals, and this is all good news for the new Omni hotel.

A lively centre in Seaport

Along with the typical amenities, features and facilities you would expect in a hotel of this sort, such as an all-day restaurant and French Brasserie, as well as a signature Mokara Spa and fitness centre, there will also be an elevated pool bar and grill that will boast the Boston skyline as its backdrop.

One of the main highlights of the property will also be the elevated lobby lounge that will double as a performance venue for local artists and bands. For corporate guests, over 100,000 square feet of meeting and events space, as well as two large ballrooms, are available.

The hotel is currently under construction and due to open in the summer of 2021. Conveniently, it is just an eight-minute journey from Logan International Airport.

Omni Hotels & Resorts will be a global, four-diamond hotel company offering consistent products and services in key business and leisure destinations.
