IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Crowne Plaza Katowice in partnership with DL Invest and Hotel & More, marking another milestone in its premium brand expansion across Europe. Expected to open in 2026 with 178 guest rooms, the hotel will become the second Crowne Plaza in Poland, joining Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB.
What to expect at Crowne Plaza Katowice
Located on Katowice Central Highway, one of the most important transportation arteries in southern Poland, the hotel will sit adjacent to Silesia City, allowing guests to take a break during their leisure time to get out and explore the city. Crowne Plaza Katowice will also be conveniently located near the Katowice International Congress Center and Spodek, and it will be easily accessible by public transport.
Designed across six floors, this new luxury hotel will feature a restaurant, lobby café, state-of-the-art meeting and event spaces, multifunctional guest rooms, and integrated social spaces. Crowne Plaza recently introduced a fresh new look and updated guest experiences, reinforcing its role as a leader and trendsetter in the premium hotel space.

Willemijn Geels, Vice President of Development, Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are delighted to be strengthening our presence in Poland by developing a strong premium segment pipeline alongside DL Invest and Hotel & More.
