The 184-key property underwent a complete renovation bringing contemporary, elevated design to each bright and airy space of the new Hilton Garden Inn.
A reimagination
On checking into the newly opened Hilton Garden Inn Darwin, guests can now expect a collection of elevated accommodation options, new modern amenities and the hotel brand’s signature Brighthearted service.
The conversion of this hotel was undertaken in partnership with Berger Group. The Darwin property is the first Hilton Garden Inn to open in the Northern Territory. The property-wide renovation included the complete refresh of the hotel’s lobby, restaurant, bar and guest rooms to fit in with the Hilton Garden Inn portfolio.
Todd Grierson, cluster general manager, Northern Territory, Hilton, said: “We are thrilled to introduce our award-winning upscale focused service brand, Hilton Garden Inn to Darwin which now gives travellers visiting Darwin for business or pleasure even more accommodation options.”
“The transformation has created an inviting hotel that we believe showcases the best of what Hilton Garden Inn has to offer — subtly elevated accommodation and thoughtful amenities that allow travellers to unwind, relax and rejuvenate at great value.”
New design and guest amenities
The hotel’s 184 refurbished guest rooms and suites all now come with custom-designed furnishings, decor in warm oak tones and an abundance of amenities such as comfortable Sealy, Plaza Collection Hilton Dream Sleeper beds, Peter Thomas Roth bath products, workspace with an ergonomic chair, a smart television and Nero V3 pro Bluetooth speaker.
Public areas at the hotel then include Together & Co, showcasing local produce on its menu in a gathering space overlooking the pool; a bar that offers handcrafted cocktails, local craft beers and Australian wines at the heart of the lobby; and the 24-hour shop with grab-and-go options and a coffee bar.
The hotel has almost 200 sq m of multi-function event space including three meeting rooms, a poolside garden and 24-hour business centre.
