The design-driven AC Hotel Santiago Costanera Center debuts in one of the tallest buildings in Latin America with a spectacular rooftop terrace.

AC Hotels by Marriott, the design-led lifestyle brand from Marriott International, announced today the opening of the 249-room AC Hotel Santiago Costanera Center, inviting travellers to experience a hotel with style and intention in the cultural hub of Chile. Housed in the tallest building in Latin America, the anticipated new hotel embodies AC Hotels’ brand promise of going beyond the conventions of travel to create experiences that strike the perfect balance of details that guests want and the services they need.

Located on the 17th floor of the Torre Vitacura in the prestigious Costanera Center, travellers and locals in Santiago alike will enjoy a purposeful, curated, and elevated style along with AC Hotels’ signature beverage and food programming.

Designed by Alemparte Barreda & Asociados, AC Hotels’ first hotel in Chile provides visitors with thoughtfully designed spaces and refined, crafted offerings that remove friction from guests’ travels and provide a seamless, intuitive experience.

AC Hotel Santiago Costanera Center takes shape with clean modern lines, aesthetically proportioned spaces, and balanced use of premium materials distinctive to the AC Hotels brand. The hotel’s AC Lobby features inviting furnishings, locally sourced art and timeless, modern touches that evoke the feeling of a well-curated gallery.

Embracing AC Hotels’ focus on harmonious design and tailored style, the hotel features minimalist guest rooms that allow travellers to use the space in whatever way they see fit. Free of traditional hotel room distractions, AC Hotel Santiago Costanera’s guest rooms were thoughtfully designed to do away with unnecessary embellishments and maximize the sense of openness with plenty of free surfaces to store luggage or pull up a chair and work efficiently.

The hotel’s communal spaces have all been designed with maximum comfort and function in mind. Concepted to be inviting and collaborative in its distribution of areas and juxtaposition of furniture, AC Hotel Santiago Costanera Center’s flexible, open spaces feature intuitive service such as Kallpods (frictionless wireless service buttons) to better engage and meet the needs of guest requests, as well as additional amenities that encourage guests to conduct a business meeting, socialize and spend time enjoying the amenities the Lobby has to offer. The hotel’s colours were selected based on regional colours reflecting Santiago’s mixed heritage.

A signature offering of the brand includes an innovative beverage and food program at the hotel’s AC Kitchen, where European-inspired breakfast features signature butter croissants imported from France, artisan cured meats, such as thinly sliced Italian Prosciutto from AC’s iconic Berkel slicing machine, an international selection of cheeses, as well as yoghurts and cereals, seasonal fruits and local specialities.

The hotel’s spectacular rooftop terrace, Luna Bar, provides guests with stunning and unobstructed views of Santiago, while AC Lounge invites travellers and locals to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, local craft beers and wines, and a concise food menu inspired by the tapas of Spain. As a brand known for applying a premium level of attention to even the smallest needs, the hotel’s AC Library features a curated collection of books that exemplify the brand’s design sensibilities, as well as a special DIY lavender turn down service.
