Six Senses has signed a hotel management agreement with Narai Hospitality Group to introduce Six Senses Bangkok as part of Hatai, a visionary mixed-use development on the site of the iconic Narai Hotel in the heart of Silom.

Opened in 1968, Narai Hotel was a pioneer in Thai hospitality, shaping Silom’s skyline and becoming a favorite of travelers, celebrities, and royalty. Now, in partnership with Narai Hospitality Group, it is entering a new era as Six Senses Bangkok. It is scheduled to open shortly after the 60th anniversary of the original Narai Hotel in 2028.

A new chapter of light and renewal

Designed by acclaimed Heatherwick Studio, Hatai is set to become Bangkok’s “lantern quarter,” celebrating the city’s cultural heritage through progressive, sustainable design. Six Senses Bangkok will offer a tranquil sanctuary amid the urban energy.

Key Features and amenities:

  • Around 100 spacious rooms and suites
  • Targeting LEED Gold and WELL Gold certifications
  • Original Narai Hotel wood repurposed into interior design
  • 700-square-meter (7,534-square-foot) suite and signature restaurant designed by Joyce Wang
  • Interiors by BAR Studio, with biophilic design and sky garden
  • Rooftop pool with indoor–outdoor flow
  • Six Senses Spa
  • Integrated wellness programs

Honoring legacy, embracing the future

Together with Narai Hospitality Group, we’re creating something truly special—a place that respects its history while embracing signature wellness, crafted experiences, and sustainable design and operations, all defining characteristics of the Six Senses core ethos.”
