Located close to the Hamad International Airport and the city centre, the 120-room property will appeal to modern independent travellers.

Marriott International has debuted its Four Points by Sheraton brand in Doha.

A re-branded property, the hotel has added 120 new rooms to the city, all of which reflect the brand’s usual “travel reinvented” idea, which offers guests everything today’s travellers are looking for, from organic local style to genuine comfort and service.

Four Points by Sheraton Doha will operate under a franchise agreement and will be managed by Le Mirage Real Estate, a member of Sharaka Holdings, the property’s owners and developers.

“We are delighted to open the first Four Points by Sheraton in Doha. The brand’s comfortable hospitality experience and the hotel’s location in the heart of the city will make it the ideal place for business and leisure travellers,” said Alex Kyriakidis, President and Managing Director, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International.

“Qatar is an important market for us, and we continue to look for opportunities to expand our portfolio and support the country’s robust plans to develop the tourism and travel sector.”

The new hotel boasts an ideal location only 20 minutes from Hamad International Airport and a short drive from the city centre and Doha Corniche, which overlooks the Doha Bay and houses a range of culturally rich tourist attractions.

Steps away from the Musheireb Doha Metro station, the country’s largest metro station and across the street from Musheireb Downtown Doha, it sits at the heart of the city surrounded by a combination of commercial and residential properties, retail, cultural offerings and entertainment areas.

The Souq underpass which directly connects Musheireb Downtown Doha to the Souq Waqif provides easy access to shopping and entertainment.

“We are pleased to officially open Four Points by Sheraton for the people of Qatar. It has been a dream project for all of us at Le Mirage Real Estate right from the moment we signed the deal with Marriott International,” said Amer Fares, CEO of Shakara Holdings, the parent company of Le Mirage Real Estate.

“We believe that every hotel-stay should include an element of comfort. At Four Points by Sheraton, we go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Four Points by Sheraton Doha believes in offering nothing but the best hospitality experience to travellers and local residents. Guests visiting Four Points by Sheraton will not just experience royal Qatari heritage but will be spoilt for choice with its impeccable range of restaurants, soothing ambience and wide options of rooms to choose from.”

The new hotel’s design

One of the hotel’s most appealing features is its design.

Created to suit the needs of independent travellers, the 120-room property includes contemporary and stylish Superior and Deluxe rooms, as well as suites.

Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including complimentary Wi-Fi, LCD TV, personal safe, and minibar. The hotel also features a fitness centre, spa, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and a swimming pool including a dedicated children’s area.

With conference and banquet space across four event rooms decked out with the latest technology and a dedicated events team, the hotel is an ideal venue for board meetings, business or social events and weddings.

The hotel houses four dining venues including Musheireb, an all-day dining restaurant offering an extensive menu with popular Arabic, Thai, and international dishes.

The Nasma Lounge serves light snacks and a variety of hot and cold beverages, making it the ideal stop to grab something on the go.

Those looking to relax over coffee or tea accompanied by delicious pastries and light snacks can head to Al Jalsa Lounge. Finally, guests can lounge by the pool and enjoy poolside favourites at the Pool Bar.

Four Points delights the self-sufficient traveler with a new kind of comfort, approachable style and spirited and can-do service.
