A new multi-hotel signing in Germany has catapulted forward the growth of IHG latest conversion brand, Garner, giving it an immediate strong presence in the German market.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a long term agreement that is set to double its hotel presence in Germany. A partnership with German operator Novum Hospitality will see Novum’s current portfolio and pipeline properties, totalling up to 119 hotels, convert to IHG brands over the next few years.
IHG Hotels & Resorts’ worldwide hotel pipeline reached 286,228 rooms within 239 hotels at the end of Q2 this year, representing 31% of its current system size.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has had another year of solid growth, with its pipeline topping 281,000 rooms as at the end of 2022.
IHG’s extended-stay brand is continuing to expand its footprint in the American South with the launch of a well-located scheme near the state capital Nashville.
