IHG’s extended-stay brand is continuing to expand its footprint in the American South with the launch of a well-located scheme near the state capital Nashville.

A convenient new all-suite property has landed in Columbia, Tennessee.

Columbia welcomes Candlewood Suites

Hotel ownership, management and development company Dellisart has announced the debut of an extended-stay hotel in the city of Columbia, just to the south of Tennessee. Candlewood Suites Columbia is an all-suite property, boasting 73 units that have been fully kitted out for convenient and hassle-free living on the go.

Full kitchens and separate living areas can be found in every suite at the property. During their stay, guests can also avail themselves of the onsite fitness centre, laundry facilities, covered barbecue area and grab-and-go pantry, the Candlewood Cupboard.

“With the opening of the Candlewood Suites, business and leisure travellers will now have a convenient brand-new hotel option in the heart of Columbia,” said Douglas Artusio, chairman and CEO of Dellisart. “The addition of the property to our portfolio is part of our overall strategy to seek additional growth opportunities throughout the United States, and this Candlewood Suites is the perfect example of the type of property for our portfolio.”

A convenient Tennessee location

The hotel, associated with IHG’s prolific Candlewood Suites brand, will be managed by Dellisart for Columbia Hospitality.

Candlewood Suites Columbia benefits from having a prime position near Expressway 412, which links to Interstate 65. It’s also close to Maury Regional Medical Center, James K Polk House, Athenaeum Rectory, Cerner Corporation Headquarters and subsidiaries of General Motors and General Electric.
