Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House have made their official debut at Westfield Stratford City in London.

Together these properties offering two distinct hospitality experiences signify Hyatt’s continued brand growth across the UK and its capital.

A prime location

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the official debut of the 225-key Hyatt Regency London Stratford and 127-key Hyatt House London Stratford in the popular shopping and entertainment complex, Westfield.

These new properties place guests close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, as well as London Aquatics Centre, Lee Valley Velopark and London Stadium.

The hotels are just moments from Stratford Station, with connections providing easy access to The City, Canary Wharf, London Liverpool Street, London City Airport and St. Pancras International Station. Stratford will also be easily accessible from Heathrow Airport via the Queen Elizabeth Crossrail line when it launches later this year.

“We’re thrilled to open Hyatt Regency London Stratford and Hyatt House London Stratford in this thriving area for business, shopping and culture,” said Glenn Findlay, general manager Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House London Stratford.

“We have two distinctive, yet perfectly complementary hotels under one roof. I’m excited to be leading my team in welcoming World of Hyatt members, guests and customers, ensuring they have a delightful and productive stay with us.”

Neil Maxwell, chief executive officer of M&L Hospitality, commented: “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Hyatt in the United Kingdom. Our strategy focuses on identifying key gateway cities with strong economic growth. Stratford is experiencing a real boom and today’s openings of Hyatt Regency London Stratford and Hyatt House London Stratford capitalise on this.”

A diverse hospitality experience

Hyatt House London Stratford is designed to provide guests with a modern and comfortable extended stay in apartment-style accommodation with fully equipped kitchens, free WiFi and flexible workspaces as well as living space. Services and amenities here include complimentary laundry facilities, a gym and included breakfast.

Hyatt Regency London Stratford then aims to offer a high-touch, stress-free experience with contemporary guest rooms and suites and shared spaces featuring design details like archways marking the entrance and including 3,000 sq ft of meeting space and an expansive open-air terrace.

In both properties, the guest rooms have been designed by Scott Brownrigg architects to represent Stratford’s connectivity through references to the Victorian Golden Age of train travel.

Guests of both restaurants can dine at the on-site Elondi Restaurant specialising in locally sourced and seasonally inspired East London dishes. Cocktails are then served at Elondi Bar and out on its spacious terrace.

By staying here, guests have use of a 24-hour fitness centre. Hyatt Regency London Stratford also has The Stratford Suite, The Bow Suite and The Poplar Suite meeting spaces, as well as an open-air terrace, for events.
