Plans for Dream Louisville have been approved and the property is now expected to make its debut in 2025.

Dream Hotel Group has announced plans to move forward with the construction of this new property in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

Preservation of the original site

This announcement follows a meeting in which Louisville’s West Main Street Architectural Review Committee approved the request to demolish portions of the Main Street buildings, while preserving almost 60ft of the original buildings and historic facades for the new hotel.

The structure’s existing brick walls will also feature in the new property’s restaurant and bar areas.

Construction of Dream Louisville is expected to start towards the end of this year, with the opening then planned for early 2025.

Dream Louisville is the second Dream Hotel location led by Alex Marks, owner of Royal Investments, following on from the 2019 launch of Dream Nashville.

A new lifestyle hub

The new hotel has been designed by Louisville-based Joseph & Joseph architects and Miami-based CUBE3 architects. The site’s interiors will be designed by New York-based Wimberly Interiors.

On completion, the hotel will comprise 168 design-led rooms and suites along with four dining and drinking concepts including a signature restaurant, a rooftop entertainment venue, a rooftop pool and event space.

Dream Hotel Group currently has 15 hotels in operation and another 25 properties at various stages of development around the world.
