The key to warm, inviting bathrooms

The first few minutes after getting up often determine whether or not you’re going to have a good day. A key factor when it comes to starting the day the right way is the temperature in the bathroom.

Numerous studies have shown that a pleasant room temperature has a positive effect on our health, well-being and performance. When we get up in the morning – when we’re likely to be feeling particularly sensitive to cold temperatures – the bathroom is the first place we head to. If the bathroom is unpleasantly cold, it makes it even harder to get out of our warm, cosy beds.

Providing your guests with a pleasantly warm bathroom in the morning

Alongside ensuring the ideal room temperature – which is 23 °C in a bathroom – there are a number of other factors that can help to start the day in the best possible way. While a fluffy bath mat will help to warm up cold feet, the rest of the body can enjoy the warm, cosy caress of a heated towel from the towel warmer. With a WC with integrated shower function, going to the toilet in the morning becomes a particularly beneficial experience. The shower toilet cleans the intimate area gently with pleasantly warm water. And there is no need to worry about getting the sort of cold water shock that you might experience in the shower – the continuous flow heater ensures that the water coming out of the nozzle is always warm.

Another tip for a pleasant start to the day is the heatable WC seat. On selected Geberit AquaClean shower toilet models, the seat will warm up as soon as the user approaches the WC. The advantage here is that the WC seat will always be warm when the user sits down, but the seat will not consume any electricity when in an idle state. The WC seat ring heating can be adjusted to various different levels just like the seat heating function in a car.

With these tips and tricks, mornings where the bathroom feels like an ice temple will be a thing of the past. Instead, the bathroom will be a place that your guests want to spend time in and a haven where they know they will be able to relax – whether they are getting ready for an important meeting on a business trip or a busy day seeing the local sights.
