Swiss-Belhotel International to open 7 hotels in MENA region starting in Q3 2019 [Construction report]

According to an announcement at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), Swiss-Belhotel International will make its debut in Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The international hospitality group, Swiss-Belhotel, has revealed big plans for late 2019 and early 2020.
The Swiss hospitality group will open seven hotels, all of which will be located throughout the Middle East and North African regions.
According to an announcement made at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the company will launch in Muscat, Kuwait City, Makkah and Alexandria.
First properties in the Middle East
This expansion is a milestone for Swiss-Belhotel International as it is breaking into two new regions.
Laurent A. Voivenel, senior vice president, operations and development for the Middle East, Africa and India, Swiss-Belhotel International, said this is the first time the hotel group is bringing its brands to the Middle East.
He said, “For the first time in the Middle East we have introduced brands such as Grand Swiss-Belresort, Swiss-Belsuites, Swiss-Belboutique and Swiss-Belinn. Therefore, each of these properties will be unique in their own way.”
Current status of the soon-to-be-launched hotels
All seven hotels are currently in the pre-opening stages.
Swiss-Belsuites Admiral Juffair Bahrain and Swiss-Belinn Airport Muscat are slated to open in Q3 of 2019.
The other two properties will follow by 2020.
