One&Only Kéa Island will encompass 75 resort villas, all with private swimming pools, as well as 40 branded residences.
Project partners
Situated in a 60-hectare site on the west side of Kéa Island, part of the Cycladic islands in the Aegean Sea, the €150 million development is the result of Kerzner’s joint venture with Dolphin Capital Investors, Dolphin Capital Partners and architect Heah&Co.
Dolphin Capital Partners has taken the lead on project management and private home sales.
Greek style
One&Only Kéa Island is being built in a style reminiscent of a Greek amphitheatre, maximising the sea views on two slopes of Vroskopos Bay.
Designed with a contemporary Greek elegance, the resort will celebrate the natural setting of the Cyclades and honour the country’s rich culture and traditions.
Ultimate hideaway
Like all properties within the One&Only collection, One&Only Kéa Island will place an emphasis on privacy, providing the ultimate hideaway.
Guests will arrive via private luxury yacht, or through the exclusive resort helicopter, into the lofty atrium complete with a cantilevered lobby lounge built into the cliffside.
Culinary destination
The resort will become a culinary destination for the intimate island, offering three restaurants and two bars – one in the lobby and the other poolside – each defined by their own distinct ethos, energy, design and flavour.
This will include a Greek Taverna which will use fresh, local produce, within an all day dining area.
Outdoor areas
An international beach club will allow guests and residents to socialise at the water’s edge, featuring elevated cuisine and soundtracked by resident DJs. Nearby cabanas will offer watersports and beach activities for all ages.
Outdoor spaces will also be available that can be transformed into locations for private events, offering spectacular views.
Leisure offerings
The retreat will be home to an indulgent destination spa, introducing traditional and holistic practices fused with modern spa therapies, with overall wellness at its core.
A Club One cutting-edge fitness centre, featuring both indoor and outdoor spaces hosting a dedicated teen area, bicycles and padel- and tennis courts, will also be part of the overall lifestyle offering.
Meanwhile a KidsOnly Club will cater to young travellers with an array of creative pursuits in a supervised environment.
Schedule progress
First announced towards the end of 2017, the development broke ground in July 2019.
The opening schedule has slipped several times since, with current completion now due in April 2024.
