LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS newly launched spa brand ‘Retreat SIGNIEL’. Named after the SIGNIEL brand, the first spa opened in December 1st on the 86th floor of SIGNIEL SEOUL located in LOTTE WORLD TOWER.
Retreat SIGNIEL pursuits of being a new luxurious space integrated with SIGNIEL’s philosophy on wellness. It aims for being a ‘Querencia’ where guests come for utmost relaxation, away from stresses and concerns.
Under the concept of journey to mindfulness, Retreat SIGNIEL lays its importance in being personal, natural, genuinely Korean, and craftsmanship. The interior of the spa was designed to reflect Korean tradition and modernity by layering the spaces of Korean traditional house, by the Korean space designer Teo Yang. The spa offers four rooms starting in order from reception, oil atelier, treatment room to resting lounge.
Once a guest passes the reception with calm, natural ambience lingering, one can test oil to their preference in oil atelier. Adjacent to the oil atelier is the tea lounge which offers infused tea while waiting for therapy, where the Korean styled hospitality culture is grafted. Products used in treatment are closely linked to personalized programs for guests by selecting those containing over 80% of natural ingredients, such as Chantecaille, Les Nouvels, Bernard Cassière and EATH Library. The spa has total seven treatment rooms with en-suite shower and bathroom, and the couple room even has bathtub. Lastly, all treatments are finished at resting lounge with panoramic city view.
“In market which famous cosmetic brand spa are the majority, a hospitality group’s brand launching would vitalize wellness industry,” said an official at Retreat SIGNIEL. “It is another attempt of LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS in extending its boundaries over the hospitality industry to becoming a life-care company such as launching premium senior residence brand VL presented earlier this year.”
