May was an exciting month for livecookintable® and the entire team. With two successful fairs, one in Hamburg, Germany and one in Chicago, USA, the feeling of recovery of the industry is complete.

At the beginning of May, livecookintable® exhibited at Internorga 2022 in Hamburg, Germany for 5 days. Thereafter, livecookintable® joined partners Meveca and Revol on their booth at the National Restaurant Association Show 2022 in Chicago, USA, for 4 days.

After two years of cancellations, Internorga Hamburg was back for the first time since 2019, from April 30th- May 4th 2022. The atmosphere was positive, relaxed and you could feel everyone was excited to finally have personal meetings and exchanges. The main topic of this fair was ‘Back to the Future’ with many exhibitors focusing on future trends at their booths. And so did livecookintable®.

The newest attractions at this year’s booth were the new Lamp and Hotplate Series, the Battery Cart, the in-table Sous Vide and the Residential Style cladding.  We were excited to present prototypes, as well as series favorites, and gather fresh customer feedback. The showstoppers were the stylish and colorful lamps and hotplates, as the full range was presented not only as a heating, but also as a buffet lighting solution.  The battery cart was the most innovative new product this year on our booth, enabling autonomic cooking in any off the grid location with upcycled car batteries instead of power supply from sockets. Cladding in any style is one of our main USPs. This year we brought the residential style with wooden cladding to our well-known table structure and segments. The Sous Vide movement has certainly been a long-term trend, new is the fact that you can now place the entire water container with a carving board in our standardized table system and save one step for operations.

The National Restaurant Association Show Chicago was also back again this year, with livecookintable® attending for the first time as exhibitor with our partners Meveca and Revol. This is another major footprint for the brand in the US market, since its launch in the market in 2020. The focus of the show was to enable valuable personal networking connections to grow in today’s new reality.

The livecookintable® setup boasted the well-known and unmistakable live cooking station in a Professional 4 with Airwall, a Multistation as cutlery station and an XCross as an ambient or warming station, with the newly launched lamps and hotplates.

Quality conversations were had and everybody, clients and our team alike enjoyed the personal meetings, having had so many online meetings for the last 2 years.

Concluding a successful two fairs, many interesting meetings and exciting networking opportunities, we feel confident in the industry further recovering. We look forward to continuing to support all our clients in reopening with the renowned livecookintable® Baukasten.
