The BEI Zhaolong Hotel now welcomes guests to Beijing, bringing Hyatt’s presence in the Asia Pacific market to ten brands.
We find out more.
Joie de Vivre breathes new life into historic Beijing hotel
Hyatt’s recent launch of the BEI Zhaolong Hotel is most certainly a joyful moment for the international hotel group.
It marks not only their Joie de Vivre brand’s first venture into China and the Asia Pacific market, but it’s also a revival of the famous Zhaolong Hotel, which the new Hyatt-branded hotel is located within.
The Zhaolong Hotel is an icon in the Chinese capital which first opened on the same date back in 1985.
This historic property has undergone an extensive renovation and refresh to bring it into the 21st century as the BEI Zhaolong Hotel, a 202-room hotel in the up and coming Sanlitun area.
“An inclusive hotel, we welcome any type of traveller, from creative entrepreneurs searching for inspiration to urban nomads looking to make new connections. With our playful, modern design, convenient location, heartfelt hospitality and state-of-the-art technology, BEI Zhaolong Hotel is set to be the newest neighbourhood destination in Sanlitun.”
Modernity and convenience in Beijing
As Hyatt celebrates its 50th anniversary in the Asia Pacific region, it ushers in this new era with a contemporary look and feel for this new Joie de Vivre property.
The design is fresh and modern, with comfort and convenience at the centre of the design’s concept.
All guest rooms are fitted with the latest mod cons and are fully connected so guests can choose to relax with a movie or can log on and catch up on some work from the comfort of their room.
The hotel offers a choice of sixteen sophisticated and stylish suites on the upper floors, and in the corridors, high tech screens showcase cutting edge artworks on large digital display screens.
Facilities include ample meeting and conference spaces, an outdoor bar and patio and the unique BEI Commune, a restaurant, bar and social space designed to draw locals in and give a vibrant space back to the community.
