by | Jun 20, 2019 | Suppliers

Back in November 2018 – a new hotel opened on the island of Mauritius, with the ambition to provide modern explorers with meaningful experiences, and of course… a good night’s sleep.

SALT Hotels takes a humanistic approach to hospitality, encouraging its guests to take part of the local culture and explore their surroundings as well as nurture their mind and spirit. Launched in November 2018, by founder and CEO Paul Jones, the SALT of Palmar is located on the beautiful shores of Palmar beach. The 59-room hotel accommodates almost all of its guest with state of the art bedding solutions with one of Carpe Diem Beds pride and joy – “Sandö”. Sandö includes the patented Carpe Diem Beds Contour System, which looks after the body’s contours and its protruding parts, such as shoulders, hips and buttocks. Combined with the depth of the spring system, this gives a feeling of weightlessness that must be experienced. It gives the sleeper the nourish and support she or he needs after a day filled with exploration and new found experiences – which is why the philosophy behind SALT hotels and Carpe Diem Beds makes for a perfect fit.

“We are always looking to provide our customers with the right type of bedding for them. We believe very much in our portfolio offering, but more importantly our genuine interest in our customer’s story and their mission – what type of hotel do they strive to be and what experience they want to provide their guests with?”, says Ulf Nilsson, General Manager of Contract & Marine for Hilding Anders Group.
