German hospitality company H World International has laid out plans for expansion with its Zleep brand.

Brand expansion

H World International has acquired the full brand rights for Zleep Hotels, in a move expected to leverage the demand for the economy sector.

At the same time, the joint venture with the Danish partner was dissolved and operations in Denmark under the Zleep Hotels brand will discontinue at the end of January 2025.

In line with the asset-light strategy, H World International is now focusing on expanding the brand in Central and Eastern Europe.

German focus

The first Zleep Hotel in Germany is expected to open soon, with the opening of Zleep Hotel Frankfurt Airport Kelsterbach planned for the first quarter of 2025.

“Over the past two years, we have established the Zleep Hotels brand in Europe by opening hotels in Madrid, Prague, Lausanne and Zurich. We are aiming to expand our economy lifestyle brand with further strategic partnerships. Our current pipeline for new Zleep Hotels is encouraging and underlines our commitment,” says Oliver Bonke, Chief Executive Officer of H World International.

Germany is an important growth market for the brand: in addition to Frankfurt-Kelsterbach, further Zleep Hotels are planned in Hamburg, Hannover, Leipzig, Berlin and Göppingen.
