TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR London delegates award Creative Spark prize to Klemm’s Hotel Arlberg Lech project, featuring her trademark “colour well-being” concept named Archiveda

It would seem a touch of Archiveda magic well and truly mesmerized the star-studded list of delegates from all sectors of the hospitality industry at the TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR London, held in the swanky Nobu Hotel Shoreditch.

Latrace Principal & Founder Ines Klemm’s Hotel Arlberg Lech project took top honours in the Creative Spark design competition, winning over the two other finalists: Residence Inn Ghent by Aedas, and LUX* North Male Atoll Maldives by Miaja Design Group.

Latrace is a leading expert for colour well-being design, applying its scientific Archiveda principles to interiors and material concepts.

The Arlberg mountain – the cradle of alpine skiing and a winter paradise featuring Austria’s largest connected ski area – is internationally renowned for its cosiness, exclusive atmosphere and stylish events.

Among many celebrity guests, Lady Diana and her sons spent vacations in the famous Hotel Arlberg in Lech, where luxury meets tradition in exceptional style and unique surroundings.

Klemm’s challenge was to keep the hotel’s iconic identity while enriching spaces with a contemporary look and feel, which creates new added value and unparalleled well-being.

The refurbishment included 10 rooms, the fine-dining restaurant, the indoor pool and new beauty and aqua spa areas.

Klemm holds a Diploma in Architecture and Design from the Stage Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, a PhD on “Colour Energy and Wellbeing: Lessons of the Orient” at the University of Edinburgh, and Proficiency in Hospitality Management from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne (EHL).

Creative Spark is a hotel design competition between three architects/interior designers, which is judged by delegates at TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR conferences. Shortlisted finalists present their innovative projects, and further discuss their work as part of a stimulating panel discussion.
