The CPD presentation is already proving popular and focuses on Accessible Washrooms and the challenges interior designers are faced with when designing these spaces.

Across a broad range of projects, especially in hospitality, designers are continuously challenged when designing accessible washrooms. This is a frustration for teams who work hard on designing a five-star hotel that has accessible suites, which end up looking more like a hospital.

Throughout the presentation, which lasts between thirty and forty minutes, Fitzroy of London explains the current regulations and what can be done to achieve the best return on investment in these areas through maximising the occupancy rates as a result of outstanding and innovative design.

The CPD learning outcomes are:

  • An awareness of the changing demographics
  • An understanding of the relevant regulations and the reasoning behind them
  • Understanding the current challenges surrounding accessible washrooms
  • Understanding how this impacts specific markets (Commercial Spaces, Hospitality and Residential)
  • An insight into Fitzroy of London
