ReGea: the essence of Sicilian stones

ReGea enriches the ReSource family with a new formulation that incorporates recycled glass from decommissioned photovoltaic panels.

ReGea marks a significant advancement in ceramic eco-design, overcoming the challenges of industrial recycling and setting new standards for sustainability and energy efficiency.

But ReGea is also a tribute to Sicily: a journey through its geology and architecture, translated into porcelain stoneware surfaces inspired by local stones and reinterpreted with advanced technologies to deliver rich textures, authentic details, and a strong material identity.

Ceramic technology and sustainability converge in the heart of the Mediterranean.

Re” represents our ReSource line — a tangible commitment to a circular production model. “Gea” evokes Gaia, the symbol of Earth and life.

Thanks to our cutting-edge facilities, we integrate regenerated materials into the production process, sourced from companies lacking the technology to recover them.

With ReGea, we raise the percentage of recycled content to 63%, including both pre- and post-consumer materials, faithfully replicating the authentic character of Sicilian stones in porcelain stoneware. This approach celebrates local identity while advancing a more sustainable future.

With ReGea, we redefine sustainable ceramic surfaces.

A Concrete Step Toward the Circular Economy
The integration of recycled glass from decommissioned photovoltaic panels represents a significant technical and environmental achievement. This is a concrete step forward in the evolution of our industrial processes and a genuine contribution to the circular economy as applied to porcelain stoneware.

Through advanced technology and continuous research into the recovery of regenerated resources, we enhance the value of materials that would otherwise be difficult to dispose of, transforming them into a new resource.

This effort extends beyond the product itself, giving new life to materials that would otherwise become complex waste.

The Soul of Stone, the Vision of Design

ReGea is born from a deep observation of nature and the desire to reinterpret it through a contemporary lens.

The collection is divided into two families: Ragusia, inspired by the architectural tradition of the Hyblean Plateau, is a journey through authentic Sicily, where the enveloping depth of Pietra di Comiso intertwines with the luminous elegance of limestone, a perfect balance between material and tradition, celebrating timeless beauty. And Sciara, that reinterprets the power of Mount Etna’s volcanic flows in porcelain stoneware, bringing the energy of volcanic fire into contemporary spaces. The name, meaning “lava flow” in Sicilian dialect, evokes the primal force of nature.

Thanks to meticulous research into textures, tones, and chromatic variations, the collection offers an authentic and versatile material experience, perfect for both residential spaces and large-scale projects
