Hoi An in Vietnam

A prime coastal location, extensive facilities and stunning design by Denniston have earned Rosewood Hoi An our latest Project of the Week title.

This new Rosewood Hotels & Resorts property is promising to deliver extensive wellness facilities and access to a championship golf course.

A new beachfront destination

On opening in the third quarter of 2023, Rosewood Hoi An will host guests in an idyllic location to the south of the Unesco World Heritage-listed Hoi An Ancient Town, which is surrounded by paddy fields and miles of unspoilt beaches. The chic hotel will stay true to Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy, with architecture and interior design courtesy of Jean-Michel Gathy’s studio Denniston.

Rosewood was appointed to manage the hotel, part of integrated resort destination Hoiana, by Hoi An South Development in early 2017.

It’s envisaged that this luxury resort will accommodate 70 guestrooms and 30 residences; five of these residences will even come with dedicated spa treatment rooms. All accommodation will be positioned on a terraced landscape for complete privacy and either ocean sunrise or sunset lake views.

Rosewood Hoi An’s impressive wellness offering

The accommodation will be joined by an outdoor pool and Rosewood’s integrated wellness concept Asaya, spanning 14 treatment rooms along with a lounge and hydrotherapy amenities, fitness facilities and a yoga pavilion.

Guests will be able to dine at a specialty restaurant, a poolside restaurant and bar with views over the ocean, and a bistro specialising in the distinct cuisine of Hoi An. Events will be hosted in the freestanding, residential-style Pavilion, which is to incorporate function space with sea views as well as an outdoor lawn.

While they’re here, guests will also be able to make use of a golf club adjacent to the resort, featuring an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II-designed championship golf course, a country club, a pool, a fitness centre and tennis courts.
