Marriott rolls out seafront hotel in the Pearl of the Aegean

Every guestroom offers expansive views of the serene shoreline or the bustling city of Izmir at Marriott International’s latest outpost on Turkey’s west coast.

A new Marriott-branded hotel has opened its doors in Izmir, the Pearl of the Aegean.

Memorable views of the Aegean

Located in the heart of Alsancak, Izmir Marriott Hotel boasts 149 guestrooms, including seven suites – each one offers views of the shoreline or the city, as well as contemporary bathrooms and free internet. It also features the Quan Spa, which provides a full treatment menu to help travellers relax during their stay, and 735 sq m of event space spread across seven rooms.

Those who want to keep in shape on the road, moreover, will no doubt be impressed by the addition of a cutting-edge fitness centre and indoor pool, while the rooftop infinity pool enables them to watch the sun go down in style.

Varied food and drink options

In common with other Marriott properties, Izmir Marriott Hotel boasts a carefully considered F&B programme, which is sure to attract a diverse clientele.

All-day dining restaurant Lima benefits from having an outdoor space overlooking the Pasaport waterfront promenade, and lobby bar Alcedo serves up light snacks, desserts and beverages in a relaxed setting. Meanwhile, the eighth-floor rooftop bar Pagos provides food and thirst-quenching cocktails amid a backdrop of the Aegean, and M Club Lounge – an exclusive space for Elite members and Club guests – conjures up complimentary breakfasts, hot drinks, light snacks by day and hors d’oeuvre by night.
