Following a major refurbishment programme, the landmark property will be converted into the 1,080-room Hilton Singapore Orchard, which will launch in January 2022.

Now open for reservations, the forthcoming Hilton Singapore Orchard will become Hilton’s largest hotel in the whole APAC region.

A major move by Hilton in Singapore

Hilton Singapore Orchard promises to provide an attractive place for travellers to stay on Orchard Road when it launches in January 2022 following the completion of renovation work to existing property Mandarin Orchard Singapore. The Hilton-managed hotel is owned by OUE Commercial REIT.

“As a hub and key city destination for business and leisure travellers, we are optimistic about the growth potential of Singapore’s hospitality scene as recovery begins and travel resumes over the long term,” said Paul Hutton, vice president of operations in Southeast Asia for Hilton. “We are delighted to start a brand-new year with the launch of a significant addition to our regional portfolio through the opening of Hilton Singapore Orchard, which will represent a true landmark Hilton hotel in an important gateway city for South-East Asia, and look forward to continue delivering our renowned levels of Hilton hospitality to everyone who passes through the doors of the hotel.”

The hotel’s prime location, just half an hour by car from Singapore Changi Airport, will make it the ideal base for both business and leisure travel.

A huge key count and impressive amenities

On opening, the hotel will offer 1,080 rooms and suites, spanning two towers, making it one of Singapore’s largest hotels. The property’s also directly connected to a four-storey luxury shopping gallery.

Its amenities will include two 24-hour fitness centres and an outdoor pool, as well as a newly created executive lounge. The hotel will have five dining concepts in total: two-Michelin-starred establishment Shisen Hanten, casual venue Chatterbox, a speciality restaurant, a lobby and lounge bar, and an all-day destination.

Meetings and events will be hosted across 16 renovated spaces, altogether spanning over 2,400 sq m. Of particular note are the two pillarless ballrooms, catering for up to 1,000 guests, along with a pre-function area.

“Hilton Singapore Orchard will be one of the most anticipated hotels to open in 2022 and an exciting addition to the vibrant scene in Orchard Road,” said Cedric Nubul, general manager of Hilton Singapore Orchard. “With 1,080 well-appointed accommodation options, one of the largest event spaces in the area, five curated dining concepts and a central location right in the heart of Singapore’s retail and dining haven, the hotel is set to be a destination of choice for business and leisure travellers, as well as those residing here.”
