Scandinavian hotel operator Strawberry has revealed plans to launch a new chain of hotels, reinventing the roadside concept for a new age.
Choice Hotels has substantially added to its branded hotel portfolio in Japan, after master franchisee Choice Hotels Japan agreed a deal to reflag 22 hotels to its Comfort name.
Choice Hotels is to double its presence in the French market, after agreeing a strategic partnership with hotel operator Zenitude.
With Choice Hotels International still pursuing an acquisition of fellow US firm, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the Maryland-based group has revealed more pipeline rises.
While Choice Hotels’ acquisition of Radisson Americas may have taken the limelight of late, Choice’s European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) division has been motoring along, already recovering its pipeline to pre-pandemic levels.
The newly constructed, eight-story, 120-room Comfort Inn & Suites Miami International Airport is the latest to open as part of the brand’s multi-year transformation.
