Hotel Florence in South Carolina has completed renovations and successfully made the switch to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand.

A prominent boutique hotel in downtown Florence, South Carolina, Hotel Florence has undergone some major changes.

Hotel Florence enters a new chapter

The property, owned and operated by Raines, began its renovation process in October 2020. Now that the work has reached completion, and the hotel has converted to Tapestry Collection, visitors can finally check out its stylish guestrooms – which benefit from upgraded bathrooms, new furnishings and updated artwork – for themselves.

Its restaurant Victors has also been refreshed, with the space now featuring new seating, a different colour scheme and a reimagined bar. Throughout the property, the changes seek to retain the hotel’s connection to Florence’s culture and historic roots.

“After seven wonderful years in the Florence community, we are excited to complete this next step in our development of Hotel Florence and our investment in the downtown community,” said Grey Raines, managing partner of Raines. “Our new partnership with Hilton will reinvigorate Florence’s hospitality offerings and enable us to continue operating as the city’s premier hotel. We are excited to welcome our community and our guests to experience the updates at Hotel Florence.”

An excellent location for guests

Hotel Florence is conveniently located along I-95, just a short drive from Charleston, Greenville, Charlotte, Columbia and Savannah.

Catering to business travellers, the hotel has more than 2,900 sq ft of event space with audio and visual packages. In terms of leisure facilities, it boasts The Spa at Hotel Florence, with treatments also offered in-room.

The property is led by general manager Dylan Purvis and director of sales Taylor Johnson, who both hail from South Carolina.
