Swiss Hospitality Investment Club: countdown to the industry event of the year

by | 08 Sep 2022 | Events

After a year’s wait, the time has finally come: on 15 and 16 September, the Swiss Hospitality Investment Club will be serving up exclusive insights into the latest developments in the hospitality sector and looking at the trends currently defining the investment market, as well as providing a high-calibre industry hub and an unparalleled platform for networking.

Zurich, 6 September 2022 The wait will soon be over: the inside line on new concepts before everyone else, the power of genuine connections and the chance to talk to established experts about all the latest challenges and opportunities – all this and more will be on the agenda at the Swiss Hospitality Investment Club in just a few days’ time. Over the past few months, a formidable organisational team has been, working away behind the scenes to make it happen: hospitality connect, Claus Jacobs Networks, Bratschi and Monoplan have joined forces to put together an event that raises the bar. A few days from now, the exclusive Swiss Hospitality Investment Club will play out in the heart of Zurich, in an industry event that promises to elevate knowledge transfer and participant engagement to a whole new level.

In tune with the times

Ultimately, the rapid pace of development on the market over the past two challenging years has taught us one thing above all else: the future of hospitality is predicated on innovative ideas and concepts. And for precisely this reason, the event will cover the full spectrum: from contracting, asset management and student housing to the hotel business and senior living concepts. While global developments set the tone, the focus is on the DACH region and the Swiss real estate landscape.

Innovative investment case studies and trend talks provide exclusive insights and show which projects are already being implemented in today’s world.

Famous far beyond the Swiss borders, the venue – Kaufleuten, a trendy and versatile event hotspot right in the heart of Zurich’s old town – is the perfect setting for this networking highlight. In addition to compelling keynotes, participants can look forward to a series of live talks and interactive discussions, as well as socials that set a whole new standard. Between knowledge transfer on global megatrends and current challenges, enough time will be set aside for additional in-person exchange and relaxed networking in a laid-back atmosphere.

Trailblazing think-tank

Around 30 speakers will engage with the who’s who of the hotel industry to discuss the latest insights and trends that highlight the path towards a future which is sustainable on a number of different levels. Chief among them, keynote speaker Tyler Brûlé (Editorial Director and Chairman at Monocle) will cast a critical eye over the latest developments in the hospitality sector, while Frank Marrenbach (Chief Executive Officer of Althoff Hotels) and Christoph Hoffmann (founder and Chief Executive Officer of 25hour Hotels) – who remain upbeat despite the crisis – will take a positive look at what’s ahead for the years to come. And the high-level knowledge transfer continues with top experts and speakers including Jan Garde (CEO and founder, The Embassies), Xenia zu Hohenlohe (Co-Founding Partner, Considerate Group), Björn Weidner (Managing Director & Chief Legal Officer, HR Group), Daniel Schneider (Founder & Senior Partner, Monoplan), Reto Grunder (Chief Investment Officer, PSP Swiss Property), Robert van der Graaf (Development Director, IHG), Yannick Wagner (Vice President Development Northern Europe (D/A/CH), Accor) and Marc Pointet (CEO, Ina Invest (Holding) AG) – all of whom will prove that learning from the best of the best is the most effective way forward. And that is precisely what is on the schedule at the Swiss Hospitality Investment Club on 15 and 16 September 2022.
