Swiss-Belhotel International has entered Oman’s hospitality market with a youthful 3-star property in Muscat.

The Swiss-Belinn Muscat will add to Oman’s hotel stock at a time when the destination is becoming increasingly popular with both business and leisure travellers.

We find out more.

King of convenience in Oman

Oman is set to get a new kid on the block in the form of the Swiss-Belinn Muscat. This 3-star property is conveniently located just ten minutes from the capital’s international airport, and only a stone’s throw from some of the biggest highlights of the region, including the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Swiss-Belinn is Swiss-Belhotel International’s 3-star brand and boasts contemporary architecture with a full-service offering that appeals to both business and leisure travellers.

With locations close to major transport hubs as well as in city centre destinations, the Swiss-Belinn brand is a modern take on economy lodgings.

Paul Uglesic, General Manager for Swiss-Belinn Muscat, spoke about the accommodation at the hotel, saying, “The accommodation choices at the Swiss-Belinn Muscat include Superior Rooms, Superior Seaview Rooms, Premium Rooms, Suites and Family Rooms as well as a specially appointed room for the disabled.”

“All rooms and suites are superbly equipped with an array of amenities and comforts along with free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access. The trendy interiors provide all the essentials with up-to-date technology for the new generation of travellers,” he went on to say.

Young at heart

The Swiss-Belinn brand is also known for its fresh approach to service and design and there are lots of features and amenities that will appeal to the young, discerning traveller.

Its fresh and youthful design can be seen in elements such as the eye-catching patterns in the carpets and the pops of colour and texture in the zoned seating areas. The hotel also caters specifically to corporate clients and digital nomads with co-working spaces and meeting rooms.

Laurent A. Voivenel, Senior Vice President, Operations and Development for the Middle East, Africa and India at Swiss-Belhotel International, said, “We are delighted to announce the opening of Swiss-Belinn Muscat at this exciting time when the market is in need of more mid-scale hotels. Being the closest hotel to the airport as well as having the city’s prime attractions at its doorstep, it is the ideal address for business and leisure travellers.”

“As part of our growth strategy in the GCC we are eager to expand our presence in new and existing markets, and we are confident that Swiss-Belinn Muscat will become a preferred address for visitors to Oman offering a unique brand experience at an affordable price point,” Mr Voivenel elaborated.

Swiss-Belhotel International operates as a hotel management company in China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, and the Middle East.
